ICD-10-PCS Index

As we discussed in Lesson 1, ICD-10-PCS is divided into Tables and an Index.

The Index is organized as an alphabetic lookup so you can locate the correct Table that has all of the information you need to build a procedure code.

It gives the first 3 or 4 values of the code and refers to a specific location in the Tables. It doesn’t include eponyms.
