The Tabular List presents codes in number order. Since all ICD-10-CM codes start with a letter, all code categories are in alphabetical order according to the first characters.

Note: Excludes Notes aren’t included with all coding examples in this course. We don’t include Excludes Notes when they don’t relate to the principle we’re showing.
