Medicare Choices: Medicare Advantage (MA) Plan

Patients can also get their Part A and Part B benefits by joining an MA Plan. Remember, MA Plans are also called Part C.

Many MA Plans include Medicare prescription drug coverage.

Patients with an MA Plan don’t need a Medigap policy because MA Plans generally cover many of the same benefits that Medigap covers. We discuss MA Plans more in Lesson 3.
