I&A System

The I&A System lets you create 1 user account to manage access to CMS systems such as PECOS.

To register for the I&A:

1. Go to the National Plan & Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) webpage and click Create or Manage an Account. You’ll see the I&A Management System webpage.

2. Click the Create Account Now button. Enter and confirm your email address, as well as text shown in the image box. Then click the Submit button.

   Note: Use an email address unique to you. Don’t use a group email address or distribution list.

3. Create a user id and password for your account. Follow the rules for user ids and passwords shown on this webpage.
