American Indian/Alaska Native Heritage Month Lecture Series

American Indian/Alaska Native Heritage Month Lecture Series

The month of November is designated as National American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Heritage Month, honoring all American Indians and Alaska Natives.  In 1990, President George H.W. Bush approved a joint resolution designating November as National American Indian Heritage Month. Throughout National AI/AN Heritage month, we recognize the histories, invaluable contributions, and lives of AI/AN people in the United States.

The CMS American Indian/Alaska Native Employee Resource Group sponsors a lecture series during the month of November for employees to learn more about the cultures of American Indians and Alaska Natives.
