To ensure optimal health for all, it is necessary to measure and publicly report – in a standardized and systematic way – the nature and extent of health care quality gaps.

The CMS Office of Minority Health annually releases national-level reports for Medicare Advantage that showcase differences in patient experience and clinical care by demographics and geography.

These reports provide useful information for quality improvement activities and monitoring trends in health and drug plan performance.
