The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Office of Minority Health (CMS OMH) offers a comprehensive source of information on eliminating health disparities and improving the health of people from all minority populations, like people from racial and ethnic minorities; people with disabilities; members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community; individuals with limited English proficiency; and rural communities.

Apply to the Minority Research Grant Program to fund your Health Equity Research

The 2025 notice of funding opportunity is now open. Through this grant, we support research that addresses health disparities in minority populations. If you’re a researcher at an eligible minority-serving institution, apply for a chance to receive up to $212,500 in funding. Submit your application by April 1.
