CMS National Pharmacy Inflation Reduction Act Educational Outreach Campaign
CMS is spearheading a National Pharmacy Educational Outreach Campaign on the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, a provision of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). The presentation is intended to provide pharmacy professionals with information about the implementation of the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan which begins January 1, 2025. Interested parties can join any one of the ten recurring webinars that will begin Friday, September 6, 2024, and end on Monday, September 30, 2024. PrEP for HIV
CMS is encouraging pharmacies and other interested parties to prepare now for the expected transition of coverage from Medicare Part D to Medicare Part B for Preexposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) using antiretroviral drugs to prevent HIV.
