Medicare HETS - Resolved CMS Connectivity Issue - 12/17/2023

Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:

A wider CMS connectivity issue (Ashburn & Palo Alto data centers down during scheduled maintenance) impacted the Medicare HETS 270/271 system earlier today.  While HETS was up and available at all times, HETS submitters that connect via TCP/IP were impacted. TCP/IP submitters include organizations that utilize a HETS Network Service Vendor (NSV) to connect to HETS.

The issue began shortly after 8:00 AM ET.  Wider CMS connectivity was restored by 2:00 PM ET; this fully restored TCP/IP submitters' ability to connect to HETS.
