Oral Health Among Medicare Beneficiaries 2021 Infographic

Highlights:

In 2021, 15 percent of Medicare beneficiaries living in the community had trouble eating solid food because of teeth and 18 percent lost all natural teeth.

• Among beneficiaries with two or more disabilities, 33 percent had trouble eating solid food because of teeth.
• 32 percent of Medicare beneficiaries with incomes less than $25,000 per year lost all natural teeth.
