Orange County Government Primary Care Access Network (PCAN)

The objective of this project is to improve access to care for more than 90,000 uninsured patients in Orange County by implementing an electronic information exchange and network wide eligibility system. Under Orange County Government leadership the Primary Care Access Network (PCAN), a partnership of 20 public and private safety-net providers and community organizations, has created a high quality comprehensive health care delivery system. By linking and expanding all levels of care, to include primary, specialty, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy services, they have improved access to care for more than 90,000 uninsured patients on Orange County.
