FY 2009 Final Wage Index PUFs

This excel spreadsheet contains the raw cost report wage data and the occupational mix data that was used to computed the final wage indexes for FY 2009. The spreadsheet contains 5 tabs. The first tab describes the data contained within each tab of the spreadsheet. The second tab includes final Worksheet S-3, Parts II and Parts III wage data from cost reports for Fiscal Year (FY) 2005 (FY Begin Dates from 10/1/04 to 9/30/05). It excludes non-IPPS providers and Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). The third tab includes first quarter January through March 2006 occupational mix survey data. The fourth tab includes the final second quarter April through June 2006 occupational mix survey data. The fifth tab combines the first and second quarter occupational mix data to create 6 months of occupational mix data by provider, which was used to compute the occupational mix adjusted wage indexes for the FY 2009 IPPS final rule. Additionally, there are five text files corresponding to each tab above to meet Section 508 compliance.
