Highlights:

  • Among Medicare beneficiaries living in the community in 2023, 90 percent had access to the internet, 51 percent used internet to get information daily, and 8 percent did not use internet to get information at all.
  • Hispanic beneficiaries and Black non-Hispanic beneficiaries living in the community were least likely to have access to the internet (78 percent and 82 percent, respectively) compared with White non-Hispanic beneficiaries (93 percent) and beneficiaries of Other Race/Ethnicity (87 percent).
