Next Steps on Formulary Transition Policies

Attached is a letter from Gary Bailey concerning the end of the initial transition period on March 31. We are asking that plans ensure that they have provided their enrollees who have used a transition benefit with the appropriate assistance and information necessary to ensure a meanignful transition. The letter also requests that plans provide CMS with information about the number of prescriptions provided under the transition benefit and how those prescriptions have been managed. This information is due back to CMS by COB on March 24.
