Interim Guidance Regarding the Survey and Certification of RHCs and FQHCs

The regulations at 42 CFR Part 405, Subpart X, Section 2401 and 42 CFR Part 491, Subpart A, governing RHC and FQHC participation in Medicare, have undergone major changes in recent years and are now proposed for further changes. This memorandum provides an overview of previous changes and clarifies the current RHC and FQHC regulatory requirements.
