About MMRR
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics (OEDA), is pleased to present our journal, Medicare & Medicaid Research Review (MMRR), an authoritative medium for disseminating high-quality and relevant research to a wide audience of Medicare, Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance stakeholders.
MMRR is a peer-reviewed, online journal (ISSN 2159-0354) reporting data and research that informs current and future directions of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance programs. The journal seeks to examine and evaluate health care coverage, quality and access to care for beneficiaries, and payment for health services.
MMRR publishes articles throughout the year on a continuous basis, a flexibility possible in an online format. Once a manuscript has been peer reviewed, accepted, edited, and author-approved, MMRR will make the article available online for access and citation immediately. In addition to a general call for papers addressing the full scope of the journal, MMRR will issue special calls for papers on topics of more specific interest. These specific topics will also be grouped and highlighted online, regardless of publication date, in order for our readers to follow specific research questions more easily.
The opinions expressed by authors contributing to this journal do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or the authors' affiliated institutions. Use of trade names is for identification only and does not imply endorsement by any of the groups named above.
