CMS released the fiscal years 2020 and 2021 Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH) Web Pricer. For the best experience, access the Web Pricer through Google Chrome. Thursday, October 28 from 2 – 3:30 pm ET
CMS will host a Special Open Door Forum (SODF) for ambulance suppliers, other Medicare providers, and interested parties to learn about the upcoming national expansion of the Repetitive, Scheduled Non-Emergent Ambulance Transport Prior Authorization Model in Medicare Fee-for-Service. This SODF will include:

- Prior authorization process
- Q&A session

Cognitive Assessment: Resources to Answer Patient Questions
From October – December, your patients will get the following reminder about Cognitive Assessment & Care Plan Services (CPT code 99483) on their Medicare Summary Notices:
“Medicare cares about your health. If you’ve had trouble remembering things, concentrating, or making everyday decisions, Medicare Part B covers a visit with your doctor or a specialist to talk about it and do an exam.”
Prepare to answer your patients’ questions and find information about Medicare coverage and billing for this service at cms.gov/cognitive.
