The CMS Innovation Center held the fourth in a series of webinars for potential applicants to Health Care Innovation Awards Round Two on Thursday, June 20, 2013. The webinar focused on achieving lower costs through improvement and the components of the Financial Plan.

This webinar was primarily intended for financial officers at organizations interested in submitting proposals for innovative service and delivery payment models.

The Health Care Innovation Awards Round Two is an initiative in which the CMS Innovation Center will invest up to $1 billion for awards and evaluation of projects from across the country that test new payment and service delivery models that will deliver better care and lower costs for Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP enrollees.
