Webinar: Health Care Innovation Awards Round Two - Developing Payment Models

The CMS Innovation Center held the sixth in a series of webinars on the Health Care Innovation Awards Round Two on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 1:00 – 2:00pm EDT. This webinar focused on developing payment models. CMS Innovation Center staff presented and answered questions on related topics including:

• Overview of payment models
• Overview of payment model design requirements
• Elements of a fully developed payment model

This webinar was primarily intended for leaders of organizations interested in applying for or partnering with other entities that have innovative service and delivery payment models.

The Health Care Innovation Awards Round Two is an initiative in which the CMS Innovation Center will invest up to $1 billion for awards and evaluation of projects from across the country that test new payment and service delivery models that will deliver better care and lower costs for Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP enrollees.
