CMS recognizes that HETS 270/271 system average response times and error rates have recently increased. CMS remains committed to providing an accurate, timely and robust 271 eligibility response from a reliable HETS 270/271 system. CMS is aggressively implementing a plan that will improve HETS 270/271 average response times, resolve system errors and maximize system availability in the near future.
