Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS will be performing maintenance on the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system beginning at 9:00 AM ET on Saturday, November 21, 2009. CMS estimates that this maintenance will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Saturday, November 21, 2009. This maintenance is expected to resolve the unable to connect errors that have been reported recently.
Please note that during this period, the Medicare HETS 270/271 Eligibility system will be available but submitters may notice higher than normal average response times. Please remember that the Medicare HETS 270/271 system will wait 60 seconds before returning a AAA03=42 time out response. If your system is generating timeouts prior to 60 seconds, please understand that you may not be waiting long enough to receive an answer.
