The Medicare 270/271 Eligibility system is currently unavailable. The system is not accepting new eligibility requests; requests to open a socket to connect to the application are being rejected.
This issue has been escalated to CMS IT for review and resolution. CMS estimates that the HETS 270/271 application will be unavailable for at least the next 3 hours while CMS IT works to resolve this issue.
