There is an additional revision to the previously announced outage schedule. HETS 270/271 was scheduled to be available from 9:00 PM ET tonight, September 17 until 3:00 PM ET tomorrow, Saturday, September 18, 2010.

CMS now announces that there will be two separate outages.

Outage #1

CMS will perform maintenance on the HETS 270/271 application beginning at 9:00 PM ET on Friday, September 17, 2010. The HETS 270/271 application will be unavailable during this maintenance period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be complete by 9:00 AM ET on Saturday, September 18, 2010.

Outage #2

CMS will perform maintenance on the HETS 270/271 application beginning at 9:00 AM ET on Sunday, September 19, 2010. The HETS 270/271 application will be unavailable during this maintenance period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be complete by 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, September 19, 2010.

CMS will conduct internal testing of the HETS 270/271 application between these two outages (9:00 AM ET Saturday, September 18 - 9:00 AM ET Sunday, September 19, 2010). External Submitters may notice intermittent connectivity issues or higher than normal response times during this testing period.
