Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS has completed installation of the HETS 270/271 2011 Q2 release. CMS has begun the process of migrating submitters to the new version of the HETS 270/271 application in a controlled, staggered migration effort. CMS estimates that the migration effort for all submitters will be complete no later than Friday, May 6, 2011.
You will receive notice prior to your scheduled migration date. No content changes to the 270 request will be required for this release. Please review the online release documentation in the Downloads section below and prepare as necessary.
The migration to the new version of HETS 270/271 will cause a momentary system outage but will otherwise not cause a significant outage. Following the migration, the 271 responses that your organization receives from HETS will be modified per the online documentation. Following migration, your organization will also be eligible to begin HETS 5010A1 270/271 testing with the MCARE Help Desk. Please contact MCARE to discuss the 5010A1 270/271 testing process.
