CMS announces two upcoming outages to the HETS 270/271 Medicare eligibility system.
1) CMS announces that it will perform maintenance on the CMS data center Saturday, January 19, 2013. The maintenance window will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be completed on the same day by 10:30 AM ET on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
2) Additionally, CMS announces that it will perform maintenance on the CMS data center the weekend of Friday-Saturday, January 25-26, 2013. The maintenance window will begin at 9:00 PM ET on Friday, January 25, 2013. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be completed by 1:00 PM ET on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
