Medicare HETS UI Internet Eligibility Submitters:

CMS announces that the upcoming HETS UI Internet Eligibility system scheduled outages have been modified.  The outages for the weekend of August 10-11 have been shortened, while the outages for the weekend of August 17-18 have been extended. An updated, comprehensive summary of all upcoming outages is provided below.  

Outage 1:  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance on Saturday, August 10, 2013.  The maintenance window will begin at 7:00 AM ET on Saturday, August 10, 2013.  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable during this period.  Attempts to open a session of the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will result in errors.  CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 7:00 PM ET on Saturday, August 10, 2013.

Outage 2:  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable due to scheduled data center maintenance on Sunday, August 11, 2013.  The maintenance window will begin at 10:00 PM ET on Sunday, August 11, 2013.  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable during this period.  Attempts to open a session of the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will result in errors.  CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 6:00 AM ET on Monday, August 12, 2013.  Please note that this outage includes the regularly scheduled HETS UI Internet Eligibility system weekly maintenance period of 12:00 AM (Midnight) - 6:00 AM ET that occurs every Monday - that is a standing maintenance period as posted on the CMS HETSHelp website here:  http://cms.gov/Research-Statistics-Data-and-Systems/CMS-Information-Technology/HETSHelp/Spotlight.html

Outage 3:  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable due to scheduled data center maintenance the weekend of August 17-18, 2013.  The maintenance window will begin at 2:00 AM ET on Saturday, August 17, 2013.  The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable during this period.  Attempts to open a session of the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will result in errors.  CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, August 18, 2013.
