Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces two upcoming outages to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system.
The first outage will begin at 12:01 AM ET on Sunday, October 5, 2014. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 5:00 AM ET on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
The second outage will begin at 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 5, 2014. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that this maintenance window will overlap into the regularly scheduled maintenance window, which is 12:00 AM (Midnight) ET until 6:00 AM ET each Monday morning. Therefore the second outage will effectively be from 5:00 PM ET on Sunday, October 5, 2014 until 6:00 AM ET on Monday, October 6, 2014.
