Medicare HETS Provider GUI (HPG) Users:
Most HPG Users received an email over the weekend advising that their EIDM User ID was created. The created EIDM User ID & password would have been the same as your existing IACS User ID & password. The email (from ) contained a link to the CMS Enterprise Portal. CMS is requesting that HPG Users not utilize the CMS Enterprise Portal at this time. MCARE will provide additional information and instruction when it is time for HPG Users to sign into the CMS Enterprise Portal using their EIDM User ID and password.
At this time, nothing in the HPG sign-in process has changed. HPG Users will continue to use the same internet URL and sign in with the same IACS User ID & password that you have always used for HPG. If you have already signed into the CMS Enterprise Portal with your EIDM User ID and then changed your EIDM password - please note that act did not change your IACS password. IACS and EIDM are separate databases and any changes you make after 5:00 PM ET Friday, January 30, 2015 are changes to one database or the other, not both.
CMS plans to migrate the HPG application authentication from IACS to EIDM on Monday, February 9, 2015. MCARE will communicate additional details to HPG Users as this date approaches.
