HETS 270/271 Submitters:
The Medicare HETS 270/271 system is currently experiencing very high transaction volume. Mondays and the first day of the month are always high volume days for HETS; today is, of course, the first day of June and also a Monday.
The Medicare HETS 270/271 system is operational but due to significant transaction volume, average response times are higher than normal. Submitters may also encounter issues obtaining an available sockets. Both of these issues are volume driven. CMS IT is monitoring the situation closely.
