HETS 270/271 Submitters:
The Medicare HETS 270/271 system is currently available but returning responses with higher than normal response times. Some submitters may also be experiencing difficulty obtaining a connection to the HETS application.
This issue is volume related due to the first day of September. CMS is monitoring the situation closely, including HETS 270/271 Submitters and/or specific Medicare Providers/Suppliers that are sending extremely high transaction volume.
