Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS has published an updated version of the HETS 270/271 Rules of Behavior (version 1-2). HETS Submitters should review the amended document, which can be found online here:

CMS monitors HETS 270/271 closely and is aware of an established pattern where HETS receives high transaction volume on the first day and first Monday of each month. CMS requests that all Submitters submit non-essential eligibility requests outside of peak hours (currently 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET, Monday – Friday).
