Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:

CMS announces an additional outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The outage will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Sunday, December 20, 2015. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors.

There is a standing HETS maintenance period from 12:00 AM (Midnight) – 5:00 AM ET each Monday morning.  The outage on Sunday evening, December 20, 2015 will continue into this standing maintenance window.  Therefore, CMS estimates that the overall maintenance window will be completed by 5:00 AM ET on Monday, December 21, 2015.
