Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces a new upcoming outage and a cancellation to a previously announced Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system outage.
1) The previously announced outage for Saturday, December 24, 2016 has been cancelled.
2) CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The outage will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, January 7, 2017. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 8:00 PM ET on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
3) Please note that the MCARE Help Desk will be closed on Monday, December 26, 2016 in observation of the holiday season. MCARE will resume its normal operational hours of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.
