Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
We completed updating our HETS Provider database. We restored it to what was in place as of May 15th. We will bring the database current on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, as we receive files from the source that maintains the NPI active or inactive status. We feel this should have minimal impact. Currently the Medicare HETS 270/271 system is responding normally to eligibility requests. Average response times and error rates are within normal tolerance.
CMS will continue to monitor the situation closely. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will give you another update on our progress no later than Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
