Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS has published updated Release Summaries for the upcoming HETS R2017Q400 and New Medicare Card Project releases. Please refresh your browser as necessary to ensure you are viewing version 1.05 of each document.
The HETS R2017Q400 Release Summary updates include 1) Section 3.1.1 - the removal of HCPCS code G0476 from the list of newly supported codes and 2) Section 3.1.2 – a restated scope of the upcoming changes related to IPPE HCPCS codes in HETS 271 responses.

The HETS New Medicare Card Project Release Summary updates include changes to the ‘Medicare HICN’ section of Table 1 in Section 3.2.

Submitters will be notified when additional information is available regarding both of these upcoming releases. CMS recommends that all HETS Submitters prepare for these upcoming changes to the HETS 270/271 request and response.
