Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces an upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Data center maintenance will begin at 11:30 PM ET on Saturday, August 18, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period for data center maintenance. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 8:00 AM ET on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
Note that the new outage being announced is in addition to the previously scheduled August 11, 2018 outage (see below).
