Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces a change to a previously announced Medicare HETS 270/271 outage, as well as an additional upcoming outage.
The previously announced Medicare HETS 270/271 outage for September 28-30, 2018 has changed. Data center maintenance will now begin at 8:30 PM ET on Friday, September 28, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period for data center maintenance. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS now estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 9:30 AM ET on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Additionally, CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Data center maintenance will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period for data center maintenance. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Saturday, October 6, 2018.
