Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS advises that the scheduled maintenance for this weekend (August 23-24, 2019) has been postponed to the following weekend. HETS 270/271 will be available August 23-24, 2019. The revised outage schedule for next weekend (August 30 - September 1) is as follows:
1) Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system outage #1. CMS data center maintenance will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Friday, August 30, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:30 PM ET on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
2) Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system outage #2. CMS data center maintenance will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Sunday, September 1, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
