Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces that the HETS R2013Q400 release will be installed on Saturday, December 7, 2013. This installation will require an application outage which will begin at 8:30 AM ET on Saturday, December 7, 2013. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 3:30 PM ET on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
As outlined in the previous emails copied below, this is a significant release. No content changes to the 270 request are absolutely required for this release but submitters may need to re-evaluate the Service Type Codes that are being submitted on the 270 eligibility request. HETS submitters should use the previously released Release Summary and upcoming Companion Guide documents (links available below) to prepare for this important upcoming release.
