Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
The HETS 270/271 R2013Q400 release will be re-installed on Saturday, December 14, 2013. This installation will require an application outage which will begin at 8:30 AM ET on Saturday, December 14, 2013. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 3:30 PM ET on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
As outlined in the previous emails copied below, this is a significant release. No content changes to the 270 request are absolutely required for this release but submitters may need to re-evaluate the Service Type Codes that are being submitted on the 270 eligibility request. HETS submitters should use the previously released Release Summary and upcoming Companion Guide documents (links available below) to prepare for this important upcoming release.
Please note that this installation outage is in addition to the previously announced outage on Sunday, December 22, 2013.
