The Medicare Part B remaining deductible amount information being returned by the HETS 270/271 Medicare eligibility system has not been updated since January 17, 2014. This information is returned in a 271 2110C EB loop. The Medicare Part B remaining deductible amount information being returned in the HETS 271 may be incorrect because of this issue. CMS IT is working to resolve this issue immediately. Beginning at 6:00 PM ET tonight and overnight (February 4-5, 2014) HETS 270/271 submitters may notice higher than normal average response times as a result of these efforts. MCARE will publish another announcement as soon as the issue has been completely resolved.
