Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS reminds Submitters of the scheduled installation of the HETS R2023Q200 release. Please note that this installation will not cause an outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system, but submitters may note minor performance or connectivity issues during the installation. The HETS R2023Q200 release is scheduled to be installed beginning at 9:00 AM ET on Saturday, June 17, 2023. The HETS 270/271 system will remain available during the installation. CMS estimates that the installation will be completed and verified by 11:00 AM ET on Saturday, June 17, 2023. MCARE will notify all HETS submitters when the installation is complete.
CMS also announces publication of a revised version of the HETS 270/271 R2023Q200 Companion Guide is now available - version 10-32. The HETS R2023Q200 system release will introduce changes to the HETS 271 response. HETS 270/271 Submitters should carefully review the linked documentation for more information.

CMS also reminds all HETS Submitters that the HETS Rules of Behavior were updated on June 13, 2023. All HETS Submitters must review the rules and share them with the parties that use your services to connect to HETS.
