Description
This contract will implement a method of case-mix adjustment for patients using swing beds at hospitals participating in the Rural Community Hospital Demonstration. The policy of an adjustment according to the severity in patients' conditions was incorporated into the demonstration in an effort to make the payment methodology more equitable to participating hospitals.
