Description
The evaluation contractor shall develop an evaluation design, assess options for comparison groups, analyze the relevant data, and write evaluation reports as part of the evaluation of the physician-hospital collaboration demonstration project. Work will proceed in two phases. Phase I will include activities related to preparing the evaluation design, terms and conditions of participation, and selection of comparison sites. Phase 2 will continue with the remaining evaluation tasks.

Status
The demonstration began on July 1, 2009. The demonstration facilities and comparison facilities have been selected. Phase 2 has begun and data are being compiled for the baseline period. An interim project report will be available by January 31, 2011.
