Measurement and Assessment Activities Related to CMS Education and Outreach under the National Medicare & You Education Program

This task order continues CMS's assessment of the education and outreach activities of the National Medicare & You Education Program (NMEP) to include the provisions of the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) passed in 2003. The project involves monitoring systems that provide rapid feedback to management regarding operations, efficiency, and effectiveness of the NMEP. Ten case study site visits which include focus groups, interviews, participant observation, and telephone and mail surveys are utilized. Specifically, tasks involve talking to new and currently enrolled people with Medicare, CMS partners, and employers. This rapid feedback will be used for continuous quality improvement.
