This effort builds on earlier work of consumer testing language and displays of quality measures for plans and providers. It also builds on efforts to provide transparency regarding CMS payments, costs, and charges; consumer out-of-pocket costs; and various provider characteristics, such as volume of service. The content may focus on health or drug plans, or providers such as hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis facilities, home health agencies, medical groups, or physicians.
