Description
The purpose of the demonstration is to provide family planning services to uninsured men and women of childbearing age who are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid, SCHIP, or Medicare, and who have family income at or below 200% FPL.

Status
On October 5, 2009, the State requested a 3-year extension, and is currently operating on a temporary extension set to expire February 28, 2011. The State is proposing to terminate the Demonstration on March 1, 2011 due to an across the board 6 percent budget cut related to state fiscal issues. The termination is pending legislative approval. As of December 31, 2009, 81,212 individuals were enrolled in the Demonstration.
