Medicare HETS 270/271 - Information Bulletin - HETS Availability October 24-25, 2021

Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters: 

The Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system returned AAA03/42 ‘System Unavailable’ errors from 11:39 PM ET Sunday, October 24, 2021 to 4:47 AM ET on Monday, October 25, 2021.  HETS 270/271 was impacted by an upstream data issue that has since been resolved.   

HETS 270/271 system is now responding normally to eligibility requests.  Connections are available and average response times are within normal tolerance. 

CMS IT will continue to monitor the situation closely and will promptly re-engage if additional issues arise.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
